Free medical outreach in Machakos County

Machakos County Government is demonstrating this commitment with an initiative aimed at providing accessible healthcare services.

Under the leadership of Governor Wavinya Ndeti, the county is launching a Free Medical Outreach that is set to benefit the community with a range of essential health services.

Scheduled for three days in November, the outreach will take place at various locations across the county.

On November 20th, residents can visit the Kasinga Chief’s Camp, followed by a stop at Mount Olive AIC Church next to Ubuntu Hospital on November 21st, and concluding at Mumbuni North Dispensary on November 22nd.

The outreach will run from 9 AM to 4 PM each day, making it convenient for community members to seek medical attention.

This initiative will offer a variety of services designed to cater to the diverse health needs of the population.

Attendees will have access to consultations, which can help address acute and chronic health concerns. Check-ups and screenings will be available, allowing for early detection of potential health issues, which is critical in preventing more severe complications down the line.

Additionally, family planning services will be provided, empowering individuals and couples to make informed choices about their reproductive health.

Disability assessments are also part of the program, ensuring that those with disabilities receive the support and resources they need to lead fulfilling lives.

Nutrition services will be offered, emphasizing the importance of balanced diets and healthy living.

The Machakos County Government, with Governor Wavinya at the helm, is taking commendable steps to ensure that all residents have access to the healthcare services they need.
