Woman seeks justice for her battered pregnant daughter

A Switzerland based Kenyan woman is seeking justice for her daughter, who was assaulted and seriously injured by her kenyan boyfriend in Diani town in the coastal region last month.

Judy says her seven weeks pregnant daughter was attacked by her lover, Bruce Munene Isaac, in her Diani camp site in Kwale County.

She says household goods worth more than ksh 140,000.00 were destroyed during the brutal attack on her daughter by the rogue boyfriend.
An Occourance Book (OB) report dated November 6,2025, made at Diani Police Station, indicated malicious damage.

Judy said she managed to secure her daughter’s safety through the police and organised for her flight to Switzerland, where they are now living together.
She wants justice for her battered daughter with a call on the police to apprehend and charge the suspect for the beating of her daughter and malicious damage to her property.

Speaking from Switzerland on the telephone, Judy has reached out to former City Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko to intervene and ensure her daughter got justice.

Judy has pleaded with Sonko to ensure the man is “evicted” from her daughter’s rented house in Mtwapa and that he be stopped from seeing her completelly.

“Mr Governor, my daughter is a victim of the growing cases of Gender Based Violence (GBV), and I wish to urge you to come on board and help us get justice,” added Judy.

She has already engaged a lawyer, M.K Mulei of M.K Mulei and Company Advocates who has since written to the accused, Bruce demanding payment of ksh147,900.00 failure to which he face both criminal and civil litigation at his own risk.
