Kangundo Mp aspirant Stella Nzembi challenges incumbent Mp’s effectiveness

Stella Nzembi, a passionate and articulate candidate vying for Kangundo Member of Parliament seat, has taken a bold stance against the incumbent, Fabian Kyule, highlighting significant shortcomings in his leadership.

Speaking n Kangundo, Nzembi raised serious concerns regarding the distribution of bursaries, an essential support system for students and their families.

“Here in Kangundo, you give out 2,000 shillings as bursaries when in other areas people receive 5,000 shillings and in others, even up to 10,000 shillings. Kangundo residents who believe that they are deserving of better financial support for their youth’s educational needs are frustrated.” She said.

By contrasting Kangundo’s funding with that of other regions, Nzembi underscored not only the inadequacies of the current MP but also a sense of neglect that many residents feel.

Moreover, Nzembi did not hold back in addressing what she described as stalled development within Kangundo.

She criticized the lack of progress in local infrastructure and public services, which directly affects the quality of life for residents.

“Development has stagnated and we cannot afford to continue in this vacuum of leadership that does not prioritize the concerns of its people. We need leaders who engage with us, understand our needs and drive tangible change.” Nzembi said.

She also encouraged residents to inquire about how their taxes are being spent and to demand results from their leaders.

Nzembi said she was carving out a platform that champions the voices of the people and aims for actionable progress.
